Overview

When your project requires the use of solid decorative screens, timber architectural screening has plenty of advantages. Timber absorbs heat, instead of reflecting or retaining it, keeping the area cooler and saving on energy bills.

Timber also offers vastly superior acoustic properties compared to metal or man-made alternatives, greatly assisting with the reduction in noise transfer, making it ideal for both internal and external architectural screen applications.

Our hardwood screening profiles are available in Queensland Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, Vic Ash, and American Oak, in a range of sizes All of which can be offered sanded and coated (oils or Lacquers). Architectural screening can supplied square dressed, micro arrised or with a small pencil round.

Most of our hardwood architectural screening profiles are held in stock or can be produced within a short lead time, however we are also able to produce a variety of profiles to order. Please contact our friendly team to discuss your specific requirements. Sanding and coating services are available for all screening products.

As part of our decorative screening range, the Decor series offers the ideal solution for designers who are looking for the appearance obtained from light section internal batten screening with an increased level of privacy not attainable with traditional screening methods.

The Decor series uses the concept of alternating the narrow face and groove width to create its unique effect.

We have maximised the range of design options available by developing profiles with single, double or triple groove options, in two different thicknesses. Our standard range comprises the basic shiplap profile in 70 and 120 mm widths and 12 and 18 mm thicknesses. This width and thickness combination is then produced with either one, two or three channels to provide seven different profiles. Additionally we have 26 mm thick profiles in 70 mm widths available with three or four 12mm channels.
