Meet the Team
This Australian family-owned-and-operated timber business has been in the timber industry for more than 53 years. Our team represents the third generation continuing our family’s proud tradition of providing high-quality timber products to the Australian market.
Graeme has been Managing Director of Timbeck for more than 35 years. Graeme took over management of Oregon sales in 1981 (as it was known then) after the company was incorporated in 1967. Graeme studied Business and Marketing at the University of Waikato and Forestry at Rotorua Forest Research Institute. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the manufacturing and re- processing of timber products.
Jacob has been General Manager of Timbeck since 2015. He played a key role in the business’s transition from supplying primarily cedar products to now also offering a range of locally grown and sourced Australian hardwoods. Born and raised in Brisbane, QLD, Jacob completed a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) before joining the family business. Jacob has been working in the business in different ways since he was 14.
Kyle started working for the company at the age of 14 during his school holidays and early university days. Born and raised in Brisbane, Kyle studied Bachelor of Business – International Business and Marketing at QUT. Kyle has extensive experience in timber production. In 2017, he took up the role of Financial Controller at Timbeck.
Coating and Commercial Sales Manager
Jason has more than 24 years of experience in operations, sales, saw milling and timber machining. He manages our coating team and supervises our manufacturing plant west of Brisbane. Jason joined Timbeck in 2014.
John “Wally” Loughlin
Head of Production
Wally has been part of the Timbeck Architectural team for more than 34 years. He has vast experience in the production and machining of imported Canadian species. Wally has been Timbeck’s Head of Production since 2003.
Head Office Accounts Manager
Jason has more than 30 years in the timber industry. He has vast experience in the import and export timber markets. He is also a specialist in timber purchasing and stock management. Jason has been part of the Timbeck team since 2016.
Head Office Sales Manager
Rob has more than 30 years of experience in the timber sales industry. He specialises in internal and interstate wholesale timber supply. Rob has extensive experience selling decking, screening, moulding and architraves to the construction industry. He has been with Timbeck since 2016.
Head Office Internal Sales
Leonie grew up working in her family’s timber business, which specialised in joinery and laminated bench and bar tops. She has more than five years of experience in internal residential and commercial sales. Leonie joined the Timbeck team in 2017.
