When it comes to maintaining and caring for your cedar sauna, there are a few things that you should be doing regularly. You need to ensure that you are cleaning it regularly to keep everything sanitary. In order to clean it thoroughly. You should first be vacuuming the space out, before cleaning it with a mild cleaner. There are specific cleaning solutions out there for cedar saunas. So we do recommend investing in one of these. Once you’ve done this, you then need to hose it down. Check everywhere for any mould, and then disinfect the grates and drains to be on the safe side.
On the maintenance side of things, we strongly recommend checking for any kind of damage at the end of everyday just to be on the safe side. The quicker you spot an issue. The quicker it can be fixed. Also, check that all benches are still strong, sturdy and screwed in properly. You may find that you have to tighten some screws that have come loose over time. But that’s not too much of a challenge.
